Hello, my name is Wayne Lawton and I'm an amateur photographer.
I enjoy taking photos of just about anything that catches my eye, textures, shadows, angles, etc.
I really enjoy hiking around the San Francisco Bay Area and tend to drag my camera along on these excursions.
Most of these photos were taken with a Canon Rebel XTI
although there are also a few shots from various point and shoot cameras that I own.
Feel free to comment or offer advice, (Or criticism, I can take it),
and with any luck, as this blog progresses, so will my photo taking abilities.

China Camp...

Here are a few shots I took on a photo shoot I did with a meetup group I hooked up with online.
We met up at the old China Camp shrimp station in Marin.
There were a couple of old boats and structures around that were quite photogenic.
The first couple of photos were taken inside the shrimp drying shack.

The next shot is of another shack's roof line
and a boat beached just south of it.

Next is an old gasoline pump on the grounds
and the shot after that is of a smoke stack viewed through a knot hole.

The last couple of shots are of the main building while standing next to it on the beach
and then looking down on it from the upper parking area.

Until next time.
